Ken King is the executive director of Consumer Credit Counseling Service and Family Service Association of Sheboygan, WI. Among his many accomplishments, Ken holds the distinction of being the first Certified Consumer Credit Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. He served 10 years as a Trustee of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, is secretary of the Wisconsin Jump Start financial literacy coalition and is a recipient of the Governor’s Financial Literacy Award for his work and commitment to financial education in the work place, the community and the state. Ken serves as a presenter for Money Smart Week Wisconsin. He has contributed to several publications and counselor training manuals and he writes a weekly financial column “Ask Ken,” which runs in the Sheboygan Press. Ken has been married to his wife Joan for 31 years. They have four sons and four grandchildren and have hosted 10 foreign exchange students in their home.
