Biography:
Dr. Amy Liepert specializes in acute care and emergency general surgery, trauma surgery and surgical critical care at UW Hospital & Clinics in Madison, Wis. Her research interests include patient safety, health quality and outcomes research and improvement in clinical processes. Dr. Liepert is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Liepert earned her MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2006 She did her Residency in General Surgery, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT in 2012 and completed a Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA in 2013.
