Biography:
Eric Olson is a member of the Food Safety Team with primarily inspection duties in food establishments as well as tattoo and body piercing establishments in Dane County. He began his Public Health career in the Chemistry Lab, continued in the Environmental Protection Unit and is currently a Sanitarian. Eric enjoys the daily interactions with food establishment operators to ensure their customers enjoy a safe dining experience. Eric is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UW-La Crosse.

Description:
A sanitarian, also known as a public health inspector, is a person who promotes public health by conducting inspections and investigations in order to make sure standards of cleanliness and sanitation are enforced.
