Biography:
Greg Vallee was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada and moved to San Francisco in 1957, on an immigrant visa green card. At the age of 18, he enlisted into the US Army where he served from 1967-1970. He also attended West Point for 34 days. Vallee received his BA in English Literature from University of California-Berkeley. He also completed two years of graduate school at San Francisco State University in an Open Classroom teaching certification program. Vallee spent part of his career teaching in Europe, but for the past 20 years he’s been a teacher in Madison Public Schools. Vallee has received two Master of Arts degrees, a Japan Memorial Fulbright scholarship and is the recipient of a Kohl Teacher Award in Wisconsin.
