Katie Moreno has been a marketer since she started calling on her neighbors to buy Girl Scout cookies, nuts and calendars. As the youngest of three children she had competition from the very start – battling her older sister over the local pool of Girl Scout cookie clients; followed by a constant, neck-and-neck competition over athletics – which sibling ran the fastest quarter mile, high jumped the highest, or even drew the most fouls on the basketball court. Katie created her first job at the ripe age of 10, opening a neighborhood pet sitting business. Katie credits her first marketing/sales success at the age of 17 working the sales floor over the weekend at The Finish Line in the Janesville mall. Her accessory sales were the highest among the rest of her team; winning her the first pair of Nike Shocks to come off the shelves. She thought she was pretty cool roaming the halls of Milton high school wearing the cool new shoes that everybody was talking about. After graduating from high school, Katie attended UW-Eau Claire for a year before heading overseas to pursue her French language studies in Normandy, France. During her year-long stay abroad she worked as an English Teacher’s Assistant for a local Middle School. From France she moved to Mexico City for 6 months where she continued to teach English as a second language and pursue her own foreign language studies. She received her bachelor’s of art from UW-Milwaukee in 2007. Since graduating from college, Katie has played a number of sales/marketing roles dealing with both traditional and primarily new media. As home to some of radio's most distinguished brands and compelling personalities, Katie has been helping clients focus on effective integrated marketing solutions which incorporate Entercom's audio, digital and experiential assets since 2010.
