Todd Schmidt has served as Village Administrator for the Village of Waunakee since 2010. Prior to arriving in Waunakee Todd was City Administrator in Milton, Wisconsin, for seven years. Before that he served for five years as Assistant Village Manager in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. After growing up in Elkhorn, Todd attended UW-Platteville where he received his bachelors degree in Political Science. More importantly, he met his future wife, Tonya, while both played for UWP’s jazz band. He received his masters degree in Public Administration at Northern Illinois University. Todd and Tonya now live in Waunakee, and enjoy family time with their 14 year old daughter Sydney and 11 year old son Sawyer.
